This year the Argus Excursion went to the beautifull city of Copenhagen. During this excursion we’ve had a workshop ‘Narrative Mapping’. We used narrative mapping as the tool to explore the city. Narrative mapping, soft mapping or mind mapping, are mapping techniques which go beyond cartography. Different from traditional mapping, narrative mapping usually involves more subjective aspects of a city of place, instead of physical geometry. How people perceive a street, how a café interacts with the neighbourhood, or how is a bench used by citizens are all the kinds of questions that can be answered in one narrative map. The result of this cool and inspiring workshop will now be showed in a great Exhibition!
Curious? Please join us at the opening of the exhibition on the 27th of February at 17.30h and have a look at all the beautifull things we’ve created. The Exhibition will take place in the Model Hall from 27 february till the 9th of march.
