The ARGUS board has a continuous structure and is based on part-time commitment of students in the master track Architecture. Every board member is committed for 12 months starting in September.
All board members act as representatives of the association and will be open for ideas of members and other connections. In general, they will be present at all ARGUS activities, unless they have a valid reason. They are responsible for timely recruiting candidates for all committees (at the start of the academic year) as well as a new board (start of the spring semester). They will keep up the ARGUS presence both offline and online and will be accessible as ARGUS contacts via email and in person.
Apart from general responsibilities, each board member has its own function-specific tasks that will be described below. This year’s board consists of the following board members and functions.
Board members of 2016 / 2017
Theme 2016/17: Exploring the Peripheries of Architecture
The field of architecture is closely linked to other fields like philosophy, sociology, theatre, literature, psychology, and more. As architecture and its relations with other domains are continuously changing, critical reflections remain important as ever. We cherish independent critical thinking, which manifests itself in ARGUS’ critical approach to architecture and the events we organise. Architecture, too, is closely linked to other fields like philosophy, sociology, theatre, literature, psychology, and more. The board of 2016-2017 focuses on this interdisciplinary approach to architecture. The guiding theme throughout the year will thus be ‘Exploring the Peripheries of Architecture’.
