TU Delft is not a very political university in the way it educates. To challenge this, Politics Please opens the debate surrounding current themes through a symposium. This year the theme Decolonizing Architecture will be explored. Decolonization revolves around the deconstruction of colonialism and colonial history with its effects such as white supremacy, racism, patriarchy. Coloniality in architecture still effects the decisions of what gets build, where, by whom and for whom. As a committee member you will help with organising a symposium, making contacts and curating the content. The committee is a new (and BOLD!) initiative by Floortje van Sandick (Chairwoman) and Meryam Ajari (educational commissioner).
